    According to the Sauk County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened on State Highway 33 around 6:55 a.m. Authorities said a 26-year-old Baraboo man was driving a van westbound when the van crossed the center line while rounding a curve and entered the ditch on the south side of the road. The van went through the ditch and struck a utility pole.

The Baraboo News-Republic reports that through November the Circus World Museum Foundation's operating revenue stood at $1.2 million, down about $308,000 from the previous Nov. 30. Expenses were down about $330,000, though, helping the foundation position itself to finish the year slightly ahead in net income.

    Just before 8:00 p.m. Baraboo Police officers were notified of an intoxicated male and female fighting in a home near 11th and Tuttle Street in Baraboo. When officers arrived, they were able to remove the female from the area and officers were informed the male had armed himself with a rifle and handgun.
