According to the Sauk County Sheriff's Office, a clerk at the First Stop BP gas station on County Highway BD in the town of Delton called 911 around 5 a.m. Sunday to report a robbery had just happened involving three people, two who stayed outside during the incident.

    City fire officials say an early morning house fire Sunday could have been a lot worse if not for a call from two people who saw smoke coming from the roof and reported it. Fire Chief Kevin Stieve says units responded to the home at 227 9th Street about 6:45 this morning after citizens Bryan Wiese and Nicholas Maglietto called 9-1-1 as they traveled south on East Street.
