    Officials with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office say no one was injured following a school bus fire in Awendaw Tuesday afternoon. Officials with Awendaw-McClellanville Consolidated Fire District say crews responded at 4:15 p.m. to N. Hwy 17 and Hunley Sullivan Road for a school bus fire.

    The National Weather Service in Charleston declared a flash flood emergency for Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester Counties early Sunday morning. In downtown Charleston, the College Park area and Moncks Corner, multiple reports have come in of water in homes, road closures and submerged cars.

    The Sheriff's Office said in a release the remains were found about midday on Friday in the community of Awendaw and were confirmed to be human.
