    The King County Sheriff's Office says a woman who was fatally shot in her Auburn home pointed a handgun at deputies before they fired. The Seattle Times reported that according to a timeline of the incident released Monday, deputies found 23-year-old Renee Davis holding a handgun and an ammunition magazine before she was fatally shot on Oct. 21. The deputies entered the home on Muckleshoot tribal property after receiving a report that Davis could be suicidal and armed.

Years after Boeing had discontinued its use of TCE, the company discovered that, from those two sources, the chemical had seeped into the groundwater and spread out northwest to create a flume more than a mile long, extending past Highway 18 into parts of southwest Auburn and northeast Algona.
