    New York State Police say a car has veered into the path of a tractor-trailer, killing the car's driver and injuring two men in the truck. Troopers say 37-year-old Cash Holtby, of Auburn, was traveling east on state Route 20 on Wednesday night when he crossed into the westbound lane in the Onondaga County town of Skaneateles , 15 miles southwest of Syracuse.

    On Friday, February 21, 38-year-old William L. Congdon II of Auburn was arrested and charged with identity theft, forgery, falsifying business records and tampering with physical evidence. An Auburn Police Detective Bureau investigation found that Congdon, a former local tax preparer, had used the victim's personal information to obtain a line of credit against a further tax return, and then withdrew money from the line of credit.
