    The train derailed late Saturday night damaging several cars and closing US 41 for hours, however no one was injured. Norfolk Southern officials told News 18 earlier Monday that the derailment was under investigation and they had no known cause, but the FRA report was dated back to Sunday.

    Bramlett became a fugitive after he attacked Tippecanoe County Sheriff Deputy Jennifer Thompson Friday evening and stole her marked vehicle. Deputies, Lafayette police and the Lafayette SWAT Team surrounded a home in the 1000 block of South Third Street around 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
