    Investigators are trying to determine what caused an early morning blaze that destroyed an Atlas Township home Wednesday, July 29. Residents called 911 around 3 a.m. after being awakened by their dogs, said Atlas Township Fire Chief Fred Forys. When firefighters arrived at the home, located in the 6500 block of Dutch Road near Perry and South State roads, they could see heavy flames at the back of the house, Forys said.
