    The Menlo Park Fire Protection District is looking to snap up more land in its coverage area as it plans to build larger fire stations to deal with coming growth. Fire Chief Harold Schapelhouman at a district board meeting Tuesday announced that the city of Menlo Park is in talks to purchase property near Fire Station 1 at 300 Middlefield Road.
