    A trip to an Ardmore restaurant turned out to be quite disturbing for an Athens woman and her two children. McKenzie Worley said she was at the Taco Bell/KFC restaurant in Ardmore about three weeks ago when she said she noticed an employee using mop water to clean equipment.

    One employee of the Alabama Department of Transportation was killed and another was injured after a wreck in a work zone on Interstate 65 near the Tennessee River Bridge north of Priceville at 5 a.m. The Morgan County Coroner Jeff Chunn says 35-year-old Jacob Smith, of Athens, died in that crash Thursday morning. He had been an employee with ALDOT for five and a half years.
