    An autopsy report says a Klamath Falls man who fled from officers into the woods on a cold and rainy night died of exposure and hypothermia. The Medford Mail Tribune reports the body of 32-year-old Christopher Sellars was found Friday east of Ashland by a Southern Oregon University professor and his class returning from a field trip to study wetlands.

    Jackson County search and rescue volunteers searched a gravel pit known for teen parties over the weekend but found no sign of a 17-year-old Ashland girl who has been missing for two months. Sgt. Shawn Richards told the Mail Tribune searchers found several articles of clothing and liquor and beer bottles but nothing relevant to the disappearance of Hannah Thomas-Garner.

    Oregon State Police say a body found in a wooded area of southern Oregon is that of a 32-year-old Klamath Falls man who was driving a vehicle that fled from police on Dec. 19. Lt. Josh Brooks said the body found Friday by a university professor and some students on a field trip was about a mile south of Highway 66. A Jackson County deputy medical examiner and a police detective identified the body as that of Christopher Sellars.
