    Although he said he is a little disappointed to lose the Wachusett Village Inn, Town Planning Director Stephen Wallace said he has known for four years that change was being considered. The inn took a big hit financially in the recession and occupancy rates have not recovered, according to members of the Crowley family, which also owns Polar Beverages in Worcester and operates the Wachusett Mountain Ski Area.
