    Over the next few years, members of the Mount Grace Conservation Trust are hoping to host an event in each of the 23 New England communities in which the organization has helped to protect in total more than 31,000 acres of farms, fields, forests and waterways since its inception in 1986. On Saturday, members of the group and local residents gathered at the Far Hills Association in Ashburnham to tell stories about the land, ice skate on Sunset Lake, cook hot dogs and eat s'mores, all while enjoying the land, which is a "special place," said Jay Rasku, the community conservation director for Mount Grace.
