    A driver who struck a tree had to be cut from her vehicle Friday evening in Arlington Heights, firefighters said. Firefighters said the woman, who was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, was driving a small SUV east on Algonquin Road between Arlington Heights and Goebbert roads around 6:45 p.m. when her vehicle left the road.
