The California Highway Patrol said an 18-year-old woman driving a silver 2000 Honda Civic was headed eastbound on Highway 24 around 4 a.m. Sunday, approaching the Interstate 680 interchange, when the accident occurred.

Four women have been arrested in connection with two separate thefts from retail stores at Stanford Shopping Center in the past nine days, while one suspect remains at large, according to police. One theft occurred at Urban Outfitters at about 2:45 p.m. July 10 and the second occurred at Victoria's Secret at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Palo Alto police said in a statement Thursday.
