    A 40-year-old Antigo man convicted of burning down his employer's business late last year, is scheduled to be sentenced in October. Chadwick Wogsland was found guilty of arson and fleeing an officer after pleading no contest to the charges during a plea deal.

    An injured eagle is being cared for at the Raptor Education Group Inc. in Antigo after it was found injured on the side of the road in Marathon on Friday. According to a post on the Marathon County Sheriff's Department's facebook page, deputies were dispatched around 12:15 p.m. Friday to the area of County Road NN and Creek Road in the Township of Marathon for an eagle that was struck by a vehicle.

    A man police said was the getaway driver in Jan. 13 robbery of U.S. Bank in Weston has pleaded not guilty to robbery. Everest Metro Police Chief Wally Sparks said the department received a report of a bank robbery at the corner of Schofield Avenue and Camp Phillips Road at 11:53 a.m. Jan 13. The chief said in an email the lone suspect fled the bank on foot prior to officer's arrival at 11:55 am.
