    More than half of households who signed up for health coverage through Connecticut's public exchange in late 2013 and early 2014 did not have health insurance, according to a new survey. In the year before signing up for a plan on Access Health CT, 54 percent of households did not have health insurance, according to a survey conducted by The Pert Group and commissioned by the exchange.

The commission's acting chairman, James F. McHugh, cast the dissenting vote Tuesday in a preliminary nod of approval, pending Wynn's acceptance of the commission's conditions.

Sales of single-family houses in July rose less than 1 percent to 3,152 in July, compared with 3,129 for the same month a year ago, according to Boston-based Warren Group, which tracks housing trends in New England.
