    Prep work for the replacement of the superstructure of a bridge that helps Route 934 cross the Norfolk Southern Railway will begin Monday, April 4 in Annville. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation may reduce traffic to a single lane in the area between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. over the next two to three weeks, according to a news release.

The bait drifted a couple seconds into the hold before a trout swirled on it and the Hershey man hooked his sixth of the 2016 trout fishing season, which had started less than a half-hour earlier, at 8 a.m. Saturday in 18 counties of southeastern and southcentral Pennsylvania.

    Police stopped a man with five prior DUI convictions last week after they said he led officers on a 20 mile pursuit while driving under the influence. Police charged Keith T. Coyne, 47, with DUI, fleeing and eluding, receiving stolen property and a number of other driving offenses after they stopped his vehicle 1 1/2 miles east of the Route 322 and Route 501 intersection in Lancaster County, according to a news release from Palmyra police.
