    Union County State's Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds announced today that Travis D. Turner, 26, of Dongola, Illinois, has pleaded guilty to second degree murder in connection with the beating death of James H. "Jimmy" Morrison, 47, of Anna, Ill. Turner was sentenced to 29 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, the maximum sentence allowed under law for that crime.
