    The creative touch of several local interior designers will be added to 'A Taste of Talent,' the annual fundraiser on behalf of Project Self-Sufficiency. The event will be held at Perona Farms on Monday, April 20 at 6:30 p.m. In addition to sampling hors d'oeuvres, entrees and desserts from more than 30 area restaurants, patrons will be invited to bid on table arrangements created by the designers.

In addition to kicking off the holiday season, the event this year will also honor the memories of two individuals a hospital volunteer whose dedication has become nearly legendary, and a local religious leader who was instrumental to the Festival's founding. The festival will begin with children's events and caroling and will culminate with the annual lighting of trees along the hospital's southern driveway by the McCracken family, and a spectacular fireworks show.

    Men and women recently gathered on the grounds of the Hudson Farm Club, a 3,800 acre hunting preserve in Andover, to participate in a clay shoot, enjoy a gourmet meal and raise funds for Project Self-Sufficiency, a non-profit agency specializing in services for low-income families. Participants of all skill levels were invited to shoot at an assortment of over 100 clay targets at 20 different locations throughout the sprawling grounds.
