    While we now know it was a shipmate who built the Bunker Hill monument on Route 206 and we know it came to be in Andover because of the builder's best friend's connection to the abbey, the mystery isn't entirely solved. The black-painted anchor lay on its side at the front of the monument, put there by James Greene.
