A dike has eroded along Sawmill Creek, north of Seward, leading to inundation on property in the vicinity of Sawmill Creek and Nash road. Rainfall has also contributed to flooding on the south end of the Seward runway.

Oral research presentations, a unique feature of this regional bowl, on the topic "Our Ocean Shaping Weather" were held on Friday in two sessions.
