    An Amsterdam man was killed Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident on Steele Avenue Extension, according to Fulton County Sheriff Thomas Lorey. Christopher M. Lander Jr., 26, of 79 Academy St., Amsterdam, was driving south when his vehicle collided with a northbound vehicle driven by Josey D. Blair, 25, of 264 E. Fulton St., Gloversville, at 3:56 p.m. Thursday He said at this point there is no indication drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
