Florida St. early Tuesday morning that began at about 12:35 a.m. According to AFD, a vehicle that was parked in the driveway was damaged, but the fire did not move into the home. The people in the home were woken up by the light emitting from the fire.

    Construction of a pipeline from Northeast 24th Avenue to the Osage Water Treatment Plant is scheduled to be complete in April 2016. According to the City of Amarillo, the construction will continue down Spring Street and will turn west onto 12th Avenue on Tuesday, July 28. The construction will then continue, turning off 12th Ave. and onto Hill St. where it will proceed southbound.

According to DPS, Evans had driven his 2015 Ford Expedition off the road and struck a guardrail.
