    Eleven people in Amarillo who were formally homeless now have a warm place to stay, thanks to the city's Coming Home program that was recently started by the city's Community Development Department. The city of Amarillo, along with the Texas Tech Department of Psychiatry and local homeless advocates and service providers, is providing the Coming Home  program to those who are chronically homeless and coping with medical and psychiatric needs, according to a released statement.
