    At times the issue has been emotional, and even heated, but after months of discussion and planning, the Altus School Board will meet on Monday to finally decide if the grade schools in Altus will become Grade Centers. The meeting will be held in the conference room of the administrative center at 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 8. Assistant Superintendent Roe Worbes and a Grade Centers Committee produced a review of pros and cons, as well as challenges to converting the current schools to grade centers.
