    The fire was sparked about 5:30 p.m. by a riding lawn mower, according to a Cal Fire press release, and firefighters left the scene about 9:45 p.m. Units from Altaville, San Andreas, Standard, Valley Springs, Murphys, Copperopolis and Esperanza responded, as well as a helicopter, two water tenders and a hand crew from Vallecito's Baseline Camp. Cal Fire units responded to a report of an illegal burn pile on the 2000 block of Little John Road.
