The market is held every Wednesday in parking lot G on the Allendale Campus from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The market introduces Allendale residents to local vendors and nutritional food items. GVSU campus dining provide $6 lunches from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The market provides produce, flowers, soaps, bread and sweet treats.

While CLN 2.0 didn't have room for all 400+ student organizations, it still gave many student organizations the opportunity to showcase their groups to hundreds of interested students. Thirty-nine organizations and tables of free food were set up in Crave while WCKS Whale student radio provided entertainment by playing music that was heard throughout the building.

Allendale Township has recently identified a field located at the corner of Pierce Street and 52nd Avenue as a potential site for a housing development for Grand Valley State University students. The site plan of the development, which was rezoned from agricultural use to multi-family use in 2012, was brought to the Allendale Township planning commission in May 2015 by the property owner, Harley Sietsema.
