Police charged John C. Tulip, 58, of 24126 Route 26, Suite 2, Alexandria Bay, with three counts of felony second-degree burglary.

    A Heuvelton man was sentenced Thursday to a year of federal probation supervision for falsifying records while working as a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent at the Alexandria Bay port of entry. Todd L. Tyo, 50, also was fined $100 after being found guilty in December 2012 at trial in U.S. District Court, Utica, of two counts of falsifying records.

Mosher, of Mosher Business Advisors Corp., said Tuesday that town boards in Clayton and Alexandria Bay approved tentative resolutions earlier this month in support of his proposed five-month study, which would be completed by the summer.
