    Residents of southern Jefferson County will soon have a chance to show off their speed, endurance and compassion all in one day. The “Race for the Rohde” fundraiser to benefit the Rohde Center Food Pantry will be held April 30. A 5K walk/run will begin at 8:45 a.m. and a 10K race starts at 9 a.m. Race Coordinator Robert J. Jansen said the Rohde Center has hosted fundraising runs before, but this year will be the first professionally-timed event.
