    Authorities in suburban Atlanta say a man had stolen credit cards and IDs from eight cars before falling asleep in one of them. The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office tells news outlets in a statement that 23-year-old Timothy Zacharie was arrested on Tuesday after a deputy found him sleeping inside the car of a resident in an Acworth neighborhood.

The U.S. Attorney's office in Atlanta said in a news release Monday that 29-year-old Michael McEarchern of Acworth was sentenced by a federal judge after he pleaded guilty to a murder-for-hire charge.
