    According to Sheriff Mike Couvillon members of the Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Criminal Investigations Division, SRT members, Narcotics Units and Patrol Division arrested Kendall LaShawn Hines b/m 34yoa without incident in Abbeville this afternoon on an outstanding warrant for Attempted 2nd Murder, Carrying of a firearm by a convicted Felon, and Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property. Sheriff Couvillon says that although he cannot get into the specifics with regards to the investigation, he says that assistance was requested earlier today by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office where the crime was committed.
