    Peterborough OPP received numerous 9-1-1 calls on Sunday, April 24 about an impaired driver on Highway 7. She was stopped on County Road 2, near Crowley Line, just before 6 p.m. Police say the 45-year-old driver, a woman from Oshawa, was arrested for impaired driving since her blood-alcohol concentration was allegedly almost four times the legal limit of what is allowed in Ontario. Two children were passengers in the vehicle and Kawartha-Haliburton Children's Aid Society was contacted.
