Wildfire Service crews were called to the structure on Joy Road near Penticton around 6:30 a.m. Fire Information Officer Melissa Klassen says two initial attack crews were sent to the scene, just outside of Penticton city limits to monitor the blaze and prevent its spread into surrounding fields. Klassen says the Penticton Volunteer Fire Department was also called in to help and together both crews were able to stop the flames from spreading.
