According to the statement, which was updated at 9:24 p.m. on Monday, March 6, and ended at 4:43 a.m., Tuesday, March 7, periods of rain developed over all regions yesterday evening.

According to the statement, issued at 5:21 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 28, Rain is expected to spread across southern Ontario from west to east tonight and taper off on Wednesday, March 1. Although rainfall amounts are not expected to be overly significant, the ground has a reduced ability to absorb further rainfall due to recent rains and snowmelt.
