The agreement allows ATCO Gas to provide a gas utility service within the municipality and bars the city from entering into a similar agreement with a competitor for the length of the term. 'Albertans have relied on ATCO Gas since 1912 to deliver safe and reliable gas services,' said Dan Nicolajsen, manager of Calgary South Distribution Operations with ATCO.
