    FLASH FLOODLIGHT: Incidents involving people aiming laser pointers at airplanes have been on the rise at Logan International Airport and around the U.S. Planes and helicopters flying in and out of Boston are being targeted by pranksters wielding highly dangerous hand-held lasers, with incidents in 2015 more than tripling from previous years in what experts say is a growing - but baffling - trend. Fifty-one laser incidents involving aircraft were reported to the Federal Aviation Administration in Boston last year, a three-fold jump from any year since 2010, when officials reported anywhere from 15 to 17, according to a Herald review of FAA data.
