    News Corp's plan to buy APN's regional Queensland newspapers has been given the all clear by the competition watchdog, which found the acquisition would not cause a substantial drop in market diversity across the state. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission in October raised concerns over diversity of content if Rupert Murdoch's News Corp, which owns The Courier Mail newspaper, also bought local newspapers in nearly every city or town in Queensland.
