Macartney recovering well from horror crash

United States ski racer Scott Macartney has been brought out of an induced coma as he is recovering well from a horror crash at the Kitzbuehel downhill race. via Earth Times

I watched the accident but could not watch it a second time. It is a miracle he is alive. My prayers go to Scott for a full recovery.

i saw the accident and have not been able to get it out of my mind all day.i hope he continues to recover well and contnues to ski. on the bright side, he still crossedthe line. itwould have been histerical if he had stillmanaged to comefirst.much love to you in your recovery.xxx

It truely is a miracle that Scott is alive, and talking so soon after one of the worst crashes I have seen. Alot of credit to the manufacturer of the helmet that he was waring. All that time to engineer, test and build that helmet just saved the life of a great skier and great person. God Bless you Scott, we all hope to see you on the slopes again soon!

Its a shame that corporate sports in usa does not cover events like Kitzbuhel.

Scott has been a great role model to jr. racers at Crystal Mountain. I'm sure I speak for everyone he has touched by wishing him a speedy recovery.
