Bickner leads US team with 18th-place finish in Olympic normal hill finals

The United States men's ski jumping team notched its best finish in the Winter Olympics' normal hill event Saturday since the 2002 games in Salt Lake City, thanks to the performance of a Norge Ski Club member. Kevin Bickner, 21, of Wauconda, soared 98.5 meters en route to an 18th-place finish for the U.S. in the first of two individual ski jump events during the Winter Games.
