When his new album, "Mandatory Fun," hit number one on the Billboard chart, the parodist Weird Al Yankovic surprised everyone - including himself.
On Wednesday, July 23rd, AfterBuzz TV musical legend Weird Al Yankovic stopped by their studios with host Kylie Hodges for a special one-on-one interview of AfterBuzz TV Presents: Spotlight On.
Now that Weird Al Yankovic has hit the big time with a number 1 album on the Billboard charts, it's mandatory fun, so to speak, to look back at his career.
"Weird Al" Yankovic 's viral video extravaganza may be over, but that doesn't mean the celebration behind his first number one album , Mandatory Fun has to end.
Somewhere along the line, it became cool to like 'Weird Al' Yankovic. This is something that I wish I could relay to my 10-year-old self as some sort of early validation.
