How does a man who plays an iconic serial killer in a chain of low-budget, hugely successful horror films spend his days? You might expect Tobin Bell - who makes his latest appearance as Jigsaw in "Saw VI," in theaters nationwide - to spend his time devising ingenious death traps, checking out the latest in fake blood or at least mingling with ...

It's Halloween again, so you know what that means. That's right, another entry in one of the most worthless franchises ever created.

The fairly low-budget horror film "Saw" hit theaters in October 2004 and became a massive success, partly because its novice makers hadn't yet forgotten that suspense and character development are what make thrillers satisfying, or at least watchable.

"A Nightmare on Elm Street," "Friday the 13th," and "Halloween" all reached their respective sixth installments with rapidly decreasing enthusiasm.
