One of my favorite groups of the 60s and 70s is The Band. I love their music and I loved how they defied the psychedelic times by wearing clothes out of the 19th century and singing songs about the Civil War.

Melissa Etheridge, Ozomatli and 3 Twins - a band that includes three members of The Subdudes - will be the headliners when nearly 50 Colorado bands perform for free on five stages at the 2009 Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest in Fort Collins in August.

This summer's NewWestFest will feature headliners The Subdudes, Melissa Etheridge and Ozomatli, the Bohemian Foundation announced this morning.
