I know you got ripped off and you deserve your money but......writing checks on money you don't have yet is your own fault. you should know better!

my sister bought me a mahjong game from a store that starts with best. anyway it turned out to be defective. i tried to get tech support from the manufacturer and got over 2 weeks of emails i sent for tech support with no solution. what i asked for was simple. the purchase key for the mahjong game that i downloaded from their website to replace my defective cd-rom. they were stonewalling me so i noted on their website was a list of their partners. i told them if i got no response from them i was going to start emailing their partners to tell them that the tech support on their games was terrible. so no response so i sent an email to a store that starts with Tar. i got a response saying they would advise their buying team. next i sent another email for tech support indicating the name of 2 more of their partners. the ext email i got from them had the purchase key for the game i had downloaded. all i wanted was value for the $19.95 that was paid for the game but it took a lot of work to get it but to me it was worth it. what i wonder is since i am probably not alone with this problem. how many people just gave up and used the cd-roms for frisbees.

i realize that the comment i made did not necessarily look the same as the issue at hand however the point i was making was to what lengths you have to go to right a wrong. i doubt many people have the nerve or the patience to go as far as i did.

Hope you didn't hurt your arm while patting yourself on the back, Mark.
