Food trucks to descend on Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, Aug. 24

The Somerset County Park Commission Free Summer Concert Series at Duke Island Park on Old York Road in Bridgewater will conclude the 2014 season on Sunday, Aug. 24, with a spectacular live Rock 'N Roll oldies show featuring John Kuse & the Excellents and Bob Miranda & the Happenings.

Getty Research Institute gets photos of performance art 'Happenings'

"Words" by Allan Kaprow at Smolin Gallery, New York, 1962. The image is part of the Getty's recent acquisition of the archives of Robert McElroy, a photographer who documented New York's performance-art scene in the 1960s.
