I think this is a wonderful idea & I will be sure to attend. The music of the Grateful Dead has helped me to open my mind & to see myself & the world around me through "new eyes". To experience the Dead on a Spiritual level is to me like riding the perfect wave, the feeling of being out of control or should I say letting go of the familar need to feel safe & trusting that it will come out right. To experience the ultimate feeling of being 'One' with the world around me. The awaking of ones spirit & like the song says to actually see that you & I are the song that the mourning brings. Strangers stoping Strangers just to shake their hand & to see that we're in the "Heart Of Gold Land. The Dead Create a enviroment for themselves & others to have a "New Experience" to take place but at the same time are not responsible for experience itself. As Bill Gram stated they are not the best at what they do, they are the Only Ones that do what they do. Have a Grateful Day & I look forward to seeing everyone at the NY Historical Society. 
