There's an old novelty song, sung from the viewpoint of a naughty brat, with lyrics like this: "Nobody told me not to paint the baby - so I did!" If you wonder how I get from there all the way to four notorious members of the Gloucester Board of Supervisors, let me repeat two words: naughty brat.
