Regardless, Ringo was the best drummer, and he did pay his dues.

Not really. It's CA that worships celebs and people who think they are celebs. Ringo ain't no celeb. He wasn't even the best drummer in The Beatles. In any case he'll fit in well with all the no talents on the sidewalk. I'll be sure to have my German Shepheard take a dump on his star.

Why not? He and the other three influenced many people and played a big role in their lives as well. Many untalented persons had gotten a Star, why not RINGO STARR?

That's right Greg. Ringo Starr is a star and he has done some pretty good acting too.He is cool and yes he has helped influence many drummers including his own son Zack.A lot of kids wanted to play drums after seeing Ringo play and have fun doing it.

Who cares if a few haters get their undies in a wad, they don't have to see it.
For those who don't like the Beatles, why post on a Beatle's forum, a very simple question.

Absolutely right awc! Ringo Starr was the best drummer because he had to adapt to the ever-changing song styles of Lennon/McCartney and Harrison. The Beatles made huge progressions in a short time. Sometimes from album to album and Ringo had to evolve with them. The fact is The Beatles songs wouldn’t sound the same without Ringo’s brilliant drum fills and patterns. Ringo is also a musical genus. This star on the walk of fame is justified and overdue.
