Seven Nations , a favorite at Milwaukee's Irish Fest, will play the Irish Cultural and Heritage Center on Friday in an all-ages, no-alcohol show sponsored by Marquette University.

Seven Nations Individually, most of us in the band grew up playing Celtic music as kids.

NeedFire is Susan Carson's favorite Celtic rock band. She managed to catch one of the band's performances at the Glasgow Highland Games a couple of years ago and enjoyed their music so much that she came back this year to hear them play again.

Celtic music is unique. There's no doubt about that. Sometimes it's an easy-listening ballad played on a guitar or a harp, while at other times it's a rocking tune created by mixing the sounds of a bagpipe, a flute, a Bodhran drum, a fiddle and an electric guitar.
