ROCKLAND : The 16th annual North Atlantic Blues Festival will fill Rockland's Harbor Park, and surrounding clubs and pubs, all weekend and that means, despite the recent weather, summer has arrived.

A little sunshine can burn away the blues - and a good weather forecast for this coming weekend is making organizers of the North Atlantic Blues Fest feel downright optimistic.

ROCKLAND : Advance ticket sales for the North Atlantic Blues Festival, set for Saturday and Sunday, July 11 and 12, in Harbor Park, run through Monday, July 6. Advance tickets are $25 per day, $45 for a weekend pass including the downtown club crawl Saturday night.

The IH Mississippi Valley Blues Festival, traditionally held over the Fourth of July weekend in Davenport, Iowa for a quarter-century now, will provide Midwestern blues fans with a stellar line-up for this year's event.
