Big money for Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia

Meanwhile, the grapevine insists that Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia are apparently being paid Rs 3 crore and Rs 1.5 crore respectively, only to enter the Bigg Boss 3 house. Kapadia is rumoured to be charging between Rs 50 to 60 lakh per day. The reason she’s still undecided on the show is that sister Simple, who’s unwell, is bedridden. But if she agrees to appear on the show, and the couple last for more than two weeks, individually, they will make more money than Amitabh Bachchan on the show. Apparently, Big B is being paid only Rs 1.5 crore per episode. Now, that’s something that one needs to go figure!

Rajesh Khanna is always in demand....he never went out of the way to cash it...he used his popularity for Congress getting votes in polls during the last two decades....Now that he is out of politics, hope he makes a meaningful comeback into the world of cinema....

If money is the only criterian for judgeing the stature then it has been published in media in the past that Rajnikant and some of other stars of south indian movies are paid much more than Guru ji of Rambo.
Is it correct?

Rajesh Khanna worked with a lot many Bengali producers/Directors during his hey days.
I am not sure about your age but it seems that you have not witnessed that era.
Would request you to pl. talk to your elderly family members and let us know about the craze of Kaka in Bengal during those days.
I have heard that he was very popular there among the masses as he wore Dhoti in Amar Prem and worked with some of the greats Bengali people of that time.
Would request a genuine answer and not like that AB is much more popular kind etc.
Pl. stick to the point without bringing your Guru ji into discussion.

All my Bengali friends believe that Kaka is more refined actor than Guruji of Rambo.
And let me assure you, I have far too many Bengali friends.
In fect some times I tend to believe that he is more popular in Bengal than any part of the country.
Let Rambo share his opinion after talking to his elders.
